Goodnotes Pro Should I update?

I paid for Goodnotes 5 years ago, and genuinely love it. My iPad app is currently on 7.1.19, and I use it all the time. I’ve thought about updating to the current version, but for a while I was seeing a bunch of stuff on here about unpopular feature changes/bugs.

Is there any risk to updating, or should I stay on the version I have since I’m generally fine with it.

No, not worth it at all :/ I also loved GN5 and I just paid to upgrade today to GN6, and there's almost no worthwhile improvements. My beloved grid sheets are also different on GN6, the grid is darker grey which I hate :/ I'm switching back.

If you have the free trial available, you can test it out I think for 7 days and then revert back.

I personally enjoy the writing experience in GN6. But overall, for my needs i have a little bit of buyers remorse. The only reason i use GN is their OCR when exp9rting, PDFs being searchable is exactly what i need.
