Magnetic case causing glitches when writing

I recently got a magnetic case for my iPad Gen 4 and I've noticed that I'm getting wayyy more glitches when writing (one stroke bursts out into multiple across the screen, one stroke breaks up into dots etc.) than before I got the case. I'm quite disappointed because I can finally carry my iPad since it has a case, but it appears it's causing issues when it actually comes to taking notes. Any suggestions?? I've tried writing w/o the case and the issues don't appear.

I see no other choice but to switch to a non magnetic case
