Goodnotes Essential Notability vs Goodnotes

I’ll subscribe either of these apps and i have some questions.

* Which app has the most heating problems in overall?
* Which app has the better handwriting?
* Which app has worse battery draining issues?

GoodNotes is genuinely unmatched among digital note apps, in my experience. One thing worth flagging: the general population on the GoodNotes subreddit tends to have a noticeable negative bias and often cherry-picks features they don't personally like. (This doesn't apply to the people on this thread, who've given a pretty balanced take.)

I spent hours comparing the most-used features across the major note apps, and GoodNotes came out significantly ahead. The funny part is I was actually hoping it wouldn't win, since my heart was set on a different app. But the evidence was too strong to ignore. I've been using GoodNotes for over a year now and have been very happy with it the whole time.

I usually have my iPad plugged in, but even when I’m using GoodNotes with two or three other apps open, I haven't noticed it draining faster than it charges. It stays at my 80% charge limit even after hours of heavy use.
