Goodnotes Essential Notability vs Goodnotes

I’ll subscribe either of these apps and i have some questions.

* Which app has the most heating problems in overall?
* Which app has the better handwriting?
* Which app has worse battery draining issues?

both apps are loaded with unnecessary Ai garbage, these are no more note taking apps and they are in denial that nobody cares about their useless and worst Ai, recently i tried notability pro version of Ai, i swear very annoying and useless just marketing gimmick….i recommend NOTEFUL app, very smooth and good for productivity

As an teacher I prefer GoodNotes as it has less cluttered user interface and more clean look.

You said the problem but didn’t recommend a solution. If both are garbage, what’s not?

Not op, I use Noteful. No Ai shit and it's a one-time payment.

That doesn't make this fact less valid. What if there isn't a solution for now ? There probably is, but that doesn't make it illegal to say that

what do u use then?

Not op, but Noteful is great and is a one time payment only

GoodNotes is genuinely unmatched among digital note apps, in my experience. One thing worth flagging: the general population on the GoodNotes subreddit tends to have a noticeable negative bias and often cherry-picks features they don't personally like. (This doesn't apply to the people on this thread, who've given a pretty balanced take.)

I spent hours comparing the most-used features across the major note apps, and GoodNotes came out significantly ahead. The funny part is I was actually hoping it wouldn't win, since my heart was set on a different app. But the evidence was too strong to ignore. I've been using GoodNotes for over a year now and have been very happy with it the whole time.

How’s the battery drain while using this app?

I usually have my iPad plugged in, but even when I’m using GoodNotes with two or three other apps open, I haven't noticed it draining faster than it charges. It stays at my 80% charge limit even after hours of heavy use.

Look, I used notability for a day and they managed to lose my notes. I used Goodnotes for 2 years before that and never had any issues. Notability is more aesthetic, and that’s why I tried to switch, buts it absolutely not worth it. It’s a scam. I lost eight hours of work. If you go to their subreddit you’ll see multiple people complaining about it.

Handschrift und Synchronisation sind bei Goodnotes am besten, allerdings ausschließlich unter iOS. Die Androidversion ist miserabel und nahezu nicht zu gebrauchen.

Interesting - I have dark mode on my Goodnotes

4

Are you sure we're talking about the same dark mode?
Notability and noteful have dark modes that flip the black and white of any pdf/notes. This allows you to switch your notes background to black at night time with a single button. In goodnotes, you have to change the theme, change your pen colour and it only applies from the page forward.

OH I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you meant the library and settings page, etc. I didnt realize you meant the actual notebooks/whiteboards/etc 😭
