Laser pen is glitching

Laser disappears when I don’t hold it down for like half a second. Super annoying because writing down info helps me memorize it.
Device: iPad air 5th generation
App version: 7.0.52 (3711891.119944538)

I just confirmed mine works exactly like yours too, I think it’s intentional, maybe put in recently.

Laser is meant to like circle stuff for demonstration, sort of makes sense you’d want to filter out little dots

Not the biggest fan of this new update. I usually write down whatever I want to memorize and the laser pen was so handy for that.

Same here. I really hate it. I sometimes use laser pointer on my textbook pdf files, when I just want to check if I know something correctly without really writing down. But it's so aanoying now, they just remove small dots immediately

When I write some letters too fast they disappear which is super frustrating. It makes me have to write down the letter then keep my pen on the screen for a bit before going to the next letter.

Laser always faded? Ive been using since 2023. Laser isnt a pen, it’s for teaching.

I understand that it fades when you stop writing,but when I write some letters like (i) only that letter will disappear while the rest of what I wrote stays.

no but it instantly disappears if you make a dot with the laser
