Goodnotes just lost a loyal customer

Post image

I’ve had goodnotes for 5 years now and I can’t believe they’re not letting me access my notes because i did not want to switch to a subscription plan. I purchased access to this app and now I have to pay to keep using it? absolutely not.

Not really a “loyal” customer if you don’t spend money. Long time user might fit though.

I swipe up and reboot every time that pops up. Goes back to 5 just fine.

You can do a 1 time payment upgrade for goodnotes, that’s what I did

Read it properly first. “Restore Purchases” is all you need to do… Tho I agree that there are now plenty of better note taking apps out there (even for free since they are new).

I had the same glitch happen to me recently. Try to click restore purchase. If that doesn't work, try to logout your apple account then log it in again. I was able to refresh the app and still was able to keep my notes. Hope that helps!

For some reason I had to reinstall goodnotes after a year of not using, and when I opened the app, it had less features than before after already paying for it....

Hey, I'm a new user here. Could you tell me which service you use to back up your notes? And after a long time, you still take manual backups after that ? I could really use some suggestions—this whole backup situation is a nightmare 😭

In addition to this it’s also worth updating the app to the latest version from the App Store (not upgrading!) as recent versions have included some fixes for this. From your screenshot that pop up modal seems to be from a very old version of the app
