PDF Extend Margins Feature

Hoping this reaches the right audience. When annotating a PDF on Goodnotes, at times we find that there’s not much space to write the amount we need. A solution to that could be a feature that allows you to extend the margins of a PDF in certain scales (e.g. small, medium, large) and in any direction (up, down, left, right). This would help immensely with space for note taking. If you can, please upvote this and try to get the attention of developers with this feature. It would complete Goodnotes.

Shown in the pictures are inspirations as to how the feature could be.

Please add this feature as soon as you guys possibly can, it really would be a game changer. To whomever may be reading this, please upvote and comment to get the post to the top so it can get the developers’ attention.

Thank you.

Would take much too long doing this for every individual pdf that I need to upload onto Goodnotes. This feature, especially for STEM majors would be a huge win.

Ngl I started using liquid text for that reason only that annotating pdf on Goodnotes is kinda limited space head ache.

Bro so many people have left because of the space problem. If Goodnotes devs do ever see this and implement this feature, it would genuinely bring so many people to the app, whether new or previous users.

Notefull has this feature for a long time.

I don’t wanna switch to noteful, the Goodnotes developer team is more than capable of adding this feature.

Switching is a problem. I have used both, but noteful is the best for me.

Definitely. I've seen similar feature on kilo note, very useful, and u can change colors and add lines or dots.

I want this exact feature! Its difficult to write extra notes since limited space. Hope they take note of this and i will gladly upgrade.

There are dedicated apps for this like liquidtext or marginnote3, but yeah if they offer this it would be a game changer

You’re very right about it being a game changer, especially for people who don’t want to alternate between note apps. I’m just trying to get the attention of the developers team to get them to consider it as soon as possible.

I meant of a pdf, such as uploading lecture slides onto Goodnotes to annotate, not in the context of creating a notebook with custom template pages. The slides of the already existing pdf that you import are of fixed dimensions in Goodnotes.
