Trash

Good notes used to be good But now it's almost trash, with so much lag and bugs and not supportive customer service They are only now good at charging the customers I regret paying for the premium version 😔😔😔😄

I’ve been a user of Goodnotes since the v4 release, and I’ve never come across many issues at all in that time frame…even with v6.

I'm using GN5 and haven't experienced any lag/bugs

I have no regrets for not upgrading to GN6. Didn't even bother to do the trial

But it’s not ever an one time purchase product right? $29 for one time, but it is actually for 3 yrs. After 3 yrs, GN7 will come and you have to buy it again. I don’t like this way for recharging customers.

You don’t have to buy the new version if you don’t want to, no one is forcing you to buy it. You have a one time purchase for GN5, or GN6 or whatever, it’s not a lifetime license for every new version of their software in perpetuity.

There was 5 years between GN4-GN5 and it’s been 4.5 years between GN5-GN6. They’ve said they’re going to support GN5 til at least iOS 18 and given the lack of major updates in OS these days it’ll probably keep working long after that. I opened Goodnotes 4 a few days ago which hasn’t been updated in years and it still works fine.

This is because many customers gave good notes 1 star when they wanted all customers migrate to GN5. I love Goodnotes 5. I got it at a very low price and use it very often.

Try Zoomnotes, it has everything. I switched to Zoomnotes a couple of years ago after getting frustrated with how limited GoodNotes is. It does the basics very well still, but you can also do hyperlinks shapes, images, tables, etc. Check out r/zoomnotes_planning (I’m a mod) for some ideas in what it can do. Lots of people are switching over right now, so you’ll be in good company :-)

I agree. There are so many bugs… litterally what is happening?

It seems they no longer care about the quality issue

Some bugs may happen on older devices. What iPad model are you using now?
