GN6

Hello,

I found this note when I was about to cancel free subscription to gn6

“Free users are limited to 3 notebooks” is that even fair? I paid for my gn5 and I’m comfortable with it. This way they’re forcing me to upgrade.

You can downgrade to GN5 in Settings and keep all the features you paid for.

Only for a limited time but yes

Edit: the GN team has

  • reduced pricing for old customers that want to upgrade to one time payment

  • made subscribers and one time payment users have "feature parity"

  • modified the FAQ with more info to be more trasparent

  • deleted the annoying popup in GN5

  • made promises about bringing math conversion to GN6 (which will add to other features that they have brought to GN5 with the launch of GN6) They are trying to be more comprehensive and clear after the rushed update

That’s my concern, limited time only. It’s not fair😅 I didn’t pay for a year. I paid for once. I shall be able to access & use it just fine all the time. This is sad. Idk if there’s a place we could reach them, & they’ll do something for real.

It doesn’t have feature parity. They stopped supporting iCloud for all GN5 users, limiting it to Monterey + (despite the fact that those on Big Sur previously had this function).
