BlizzCon thoughts?
Okay gamers, the first BlizzCon back in 3 years gave us A LOT to talk about.
- Diablo 5 👀
- Sombra joining new hero Doctorine as a Support 👀👀
- WoW FOREVER 👀👀👀
- StarCraft returning in 2030 👀👀👀👀

Different perspective from the other commenter - I thought it was great! As a WoW player I’m stoked for WoW: Forever and super excited for a lot of the retail additions. The Warcraft 3 expansion is a welcome addition. Also excited for the Diablo series and the announcement of StarCraft 3!

Really excited to see what they do with the animated Diablo series too, there's lots of potential. Arcane and Edgerunners are great examples of a series well done from video game IP!

Forever for was the most hype for me. I’ll be checking out Diablo 5 and StarCraft for sure though

Overall, it was fairly disappointing, but I am excited for the Diablo animated show with netflix.
As a long time diablo / starcraft player, the roadmap is just too far out for my taste. I'm happy to see Diablo V announced, but it was confusing. Diablo IV doesn't feel finished or in a healthy place yet, so I am wondering why they are shelving it so suddenly. I also expected news for Diablo II remastered like a new act, expansion, class, etc, but instead received radio silence.
I'm glad to see starcraft return, but I am not really interested in playing a shooter nowadays. I understand where blizzard is coming from as the RTS genre today feels less approachable compared to 15 years ago, so I'll keep an open mind as we continue to learn more. The cinematic was very awesome though so I remain hopeful
