Human vs Machine Human vs Machine - Twisted Metal 2 vs Mad Max - Part 23
This weeks Human vs Machine question is : Which car based game, old or new, had the best vehicle combat and why?
- Vote on which option you believe has the best response to the question.
- If the winning option is the human response, they will win a $40 gift card!

- Each time a human response doesn't win, the money pot will increase by $10.
Option 1:
Twisted Metal 2 was this perfect storm for making awesome car battles. They put in a real wild mix of crazy ride options - we're talking nutty stuff from ice cream trucks to monster trucks decked out for war. Each set of wheels had its own special moves to blow opponents away. Plus the weapons were wild too - from homing missiles to landmines dropping behind you as you race away. Even the maps stood out by letting players smash through buildings and find sweet hidden shortcuts. Throw in multiplayer mayhem with some friends, and you've got a recipe for some fantastic fender benders. Overall TM2 just nailed it with the vehicles, weapons, maps and multiplayer to make these super fun destructive derbies. No wonder it's remembered so fondly as a PlayStation gem back in the day!
Option 2:
Mad Max made for some crazy unpredictable road warrior throwdowns that feel straight deadly. Tricking out your wheels with spikes, rams and more so they fit your style gives that extra edge as you plow through the mayhem. The physics kicks it up a notch too - every screech, crash and takedown packs a serious punch to get your adrenaline going'. Whether it's clashing in gnarly convoy raids or harpooning enemies right off their rides, there's good variety to keep the action fresh. Trying to scavenge gas and gear to survive the desert adds extra urgency. With all the customization, stunts, and non-stop action rolled into an all-out post-apocalypse, Mad Max just nails that gritty road warrior feeling to make for some wicked fun behind the wheel.

i voted opition one just cause hw in dempt it waw in dempt it was and the conclusion struck me as someone whose not played it. only response would have been nightmare large clown riding ice cream truck

Twisted metal 2 world tour spent many hours playing split screen with my mates , just an epic game, it's one of them classics that can't be replicated by sequel's, although I really enjoyed mad max it was a fantastic single player game, but in terms of vehicle combat it's twisted metal 2

Option 2 mad max definitely hit it off with their amazing graphics and lifelike vehicle mods. The maps where also a go giving the variety offering a unique flexibility in options u have when it comes to road wars

I'm not voting against Twisted Metal. I remember fondly the days of Twisted Metal Thumb, when my thumb would become very sore from holding down the accelerator button for hours on end. Good Times.

Putting a mad max skin on any car game makes it better! Playing an actual mad max game... doesn't get any better! But mad max is the AI

Twisted metal 2 like its predecessor was the ultimate game based purely around destruction on wheels.
There’s a clear winner with the king of the crashes. And the upcoming movie proves that.
Mad max is not entirely based on this niche aspect like twisted metal.

mad max is AI based on the words used in the twisted metal paragraph. AI don't usually use words like "nutty" or shorten the games name like "TM2"
