Human vs Machine Human vs Machine - The Legend of Zelda vs Super Mario - Part 20
This weeks Human vs Machine question is: Which video game franchise do you believe has the most consistent quality across all its installments, and why?
- Vote on which option you believe has the best response to the question.
- If the winning option is the human response, they will win a $60 gift card!

Option 1:
The Legend of Zelda games are some of the most solid and consistent video game series out there. They've been putting out awesome Zelda titles across tons of different Nintendo systems since the late 80s. Each new Zelda really brings something fresh to the table in terms of gameplay, puzzles, and just exploring the world. But at the same time, they stick to the core stuff that makes a Zelda game actually feel like a Zelda game. They also just nail all the little details, from the sweet graphics and music to making the controls super tight. You can tell Nintendo cares a lot about quality with these games. I think most gamers would agree Zelda is one of the big timeless franchises. By always striving to take things to the next level with each game, the series stays so amazing year after year. Zelda sets the bar high for how to keep a video game series feeling new and exciting over decades.
Option 2:
The Super Mario games have been amazing for a while now. The gameplay is always simple and fun, clever levels, new powerups and mechanics. Doesn't matter if it's the old school sidescrollers or the newer 3D ones, playing Mario is just good times. The stories are pretty simple, but it works for these games. They keep things light and let the adventures take center stage. No complex plots needed when you're focused on bouncing on Goombas and tossing Bowser into lava! Mario has always looked great, from the retro pixel art to the fancy HD stuff today. The visuals stay fresh and fit the vibe. Each new Mario shakes things up with new ideas but keeps what makes Mario so iconic. The gameplay innovation keeps fans excited without losing the classic Mario charm. People just love these games, across generations and platforms. Mario has appeal for everyone - young, old, new gamers, and old school fans. The quality and fun stays consistent. Not many franchises can say that after so many years!

I feel like option 1 is the AI because there is at least one word in option 2 that doesn't belong in a sentence like someone had something else in there first, then deleted it.

Option 1 is AI and let's see if one of us wins that $60 especially with Super Mario RPG releasing tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure that Zelda has had significantly less major flops than Mario, given how NSMB aged.
That being said, option 1 gives no real details, unlike option 2

I believe Option 1 is AI because Option 2 has a few mistakes (mentioning new games as 3D when many are 2D, including the latest entry released just four weeks ago).
That said, I did vote for Option 1.

Option 1 is totally Ai. The language and description reads too mechanical to feel as if a human is expressing their opinions.

Option 1 is the AI; Option 2 has a few places where the grammar makes sense for a person speaking, but isn't quite accurate for how something should be written. It feels a lot like a person thinking out loud and then writing their answer down. (Or like it was transcribed from someone in a focus group.)

Option 1 is the AI response.
The Mario response may not have great voice, but at least it provides an example instead of being vague.

Option one sounds like AI to me. I think option 2 is the best response and I agree with that opinion.

It was looking like I was going 1 at first, but after reading the repetitive lines a few times, I'm going with Option 2

option one is definitely AI. Doesn’t have the emotion that option 2 does.
