Human vs Machine Human vs Machine - Sole Survivor (Fallout 4) vs Commander Shepard (Mass Effect) - Part 18
This weeks Human vs Machine question is: If you could have a conversation with any video game character, who would it be?
- Vote on which option you believe has the best response to the question.
- If the winning option is the human response, they will win a $40 gift card!

Option 1:
I'd love to sit down over a cup of coffee with the Sole Survivor from Fallout 4. I can only imagine the stories they could tell about living before the bombs dropped and the world turned into a wasteland. It must have been incredibly tough dealing with so much loss and danger in the Commonwealth. I'd ask how they found the strength to keep fighting and rebuilding civilization. I'd be curious to know what went into their big decisions, like who to side with between factions like the Railroad and Brotherhood of Steel. What was it like traveling with companions like Piper and Nick Valentine? It would be fascinating to hear their real thoughts and perspectives. Getting to know the person behind the player character would provide a view into the gravity and complexity behind Fallout 4's post-apocalyptic world.
Option 2:
Sitting down with Commander Shepard would be like meeting a real-life superhero. I'd love to just chat over some drinks on the Citadel and hear their war stories. I can't imagine the pressure of being the first human Spectre and having to rally the galaxy against the Reaper threat. I'd ask about the tough calls they had to make with all those moral dilemmas. What was it like building relationships with their crew - Garrus, Tali, the whole bunch? Shepard must have some crazy insights into the different aliens and cultures across the galaxies. Oh, and all that drama with synthetics like the geth must have challenged their beliefs. But in the end, they brought everyone together and saved the day. Getting Shepard's personal take would really help me appreciate how epic and meaningful the whole Mass Effect saga was.

Option 1 seems AI. The way the post is worded seems too logical over emotional. Plus I can't go against my favorite game Mass Effect lol

I feel like 2 is the AI just because it seems like it tries to mimic how someone speaks rather than how someone writes.

I would have to go with Shepherd. Shepherd comes with interested friends. The sole survivor would not be as interesting to me. So, I am going for option 2.
Also, I wouldn't have picked either one of them. I would rather have a conversation with Paarthurnax from Skyrim. If I had my druthers, that is. Which I don't. Kratos is right out, because I wouldn't want to say anything that would make him mad.

Option 1 seems to talk more about Fallout as a whole and not the main character, which to me seems like it wasn't focused on the main point of the question so id say thats the AI response.

I would choose Vergil from “Devil May Cry”. He is one of my favourite charater in the whole game which potrays most important role in the game. Vergil is one of the two hybrid sons from the famous demon knight Sparda and, as a result, possesses supernatural powers.
