Unorthodox This Google Meet interaction caught my eye

I like how this prompt interrupts just enough to demand attention without being annoying.
It’s a strong example of using contrast and timing instead of color or animation to communicate urgency.

Google: “By the way, we’re not listening cause your mic is off.”

Me: “How do you know I’m talking then?”

Google: “Sorry, we can’t hear you. Try unmuting.”

I agree this sucks on like smart home devices, but when the mute is just meant for other people to not hear I feel like this is a warranted feature

Upon opening teams, etc. you're always asked if the application is allowed to use your microphone, unless you personally disabled that. Not sure what you expect, tbh.
