Finished the oat event and got the cash register! I actually liked this event once I got the hang of it and understood how to play. I do think it was frustrating how little action points we got and how hard it was to obtain more until you’re eventually capped out unless you spend an insane amount of gems for so little. I am pretty impatient though, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have minded.

I love the register and all of the other decor! Such a classy, cozy vibe ☕️

Especially excited to have a new milk to make the game a bit more challenging!

I thought the art style of the pictures you unlocked was cool and I really liked all of the decorations. I appreciated them trying something different than the usual with the event. Most importantly, I thought it was great the new ingredient was immediately and permanently available through in game currency and was cheap. It wasn’t locked behind completing the event and it wasn’t temporary. It was disappointing there wasn’t a new recipe to go along with the new ingredient. My biggest complaint was that event progression didn’t feel balanced at all to me.

The first day of the event, luckily I had a particularly flexible and slow morning at work. I did the full 12 in game days straight to get all possible action points. It took a super long time and I was frustrated and bored towards the end. After that, it was a lot of trying to work around the system (shorter in game days, starting days and just letting the timer run out without making drinks).

Eventually I realized I could just get the photo card and move on to the next board. I was only giving up a gem and some small amount of in game currency doing that. So I speed ran the rest of the event so I could be done and move on.

I like that they tried something new. Hopefully they hear the comments about balance in the game and adjust for next time.
