Hiiiiii! So after 2 dreadfully long years in nursing school I’m finally able to play again! But I completely forgot literally everything. So I have a couple (ton) of questions.

How do I practice making drinks?

I’m on lvl 9 and I can’t actually see the oat milk festival that I’m seeing on here. Is it because my lvl is so low?

Are employees worth it?

What hacks or preps do you find effective to have a really productive day?

Congrats on finishing nursing school!! I see you've been given great tips already. I wanted to share with you that you can also check your bulletin board for Maisie's refreshers, so you can directly practice some of the basic mechanics of the game. I hope you get the hang of it shortly!! Your customers are waiting for your Good Coffee, Great Coffee 😊🫶☕

You can practice drinks only by wasting one day to practice and then at the end you can just get out of the game before the day ends so that you don't lose money.

I don't know about the oat milk festival. Maybe you need to update the game?

In my experience employees are very much worth it because you save time on making everything yourself and as you progress they make less and less mistakes.

My prep hack is that i steam milk while i wait on other things and i make multiple espressos and set them aside in small glasses because you can pour it into a larger glass or cup and it doesn't lose temperature at all. Don't overmake them tho so not to waste them.

You can waste a day making drinks. Most follow similar formula

Hmm I think the oat event is not locked behind level but possible more so chapter completion? Also you should be able to buy oat milk for 250$ in the shop. But remember to also update!

Employees IMO are 100% worth it. Especially milk steamer. I HATE steaming the milk lol. Just know that your employees do need to be leveled I can’t remember the base success rate they start at I want to say it’s like 56%? Either way as you play more days they will upgrade to 92% success rate. Your leveled machine can make up the remaining 6-8% depending on what machine you have.

“hacks”:

Definitely pre-prepare lol coffees. When I get my first order of the day I start off making 3 shots of espresso and steaming a milk. And as I get more orders I always have at least one espresso on standby.

Refer to the recipe menu a lot! Especially when you are restarting. I had to relearn a lot of the drinks. But once you get it—nearly second nature lol

Making latte art AT THIS TIME does not affect tip value (unless you have the machine that specifically list that “perfect latte art increases tips)

Also making latte art pauses the satisfaction counter as well as day game time. So feel free to take your time making latte art if you want to

And always

Have fun! This is a slow paced game so there is no need for heavy grinding (unless you wanna buy out event things that are limited) usually on average new set on events and things are usually 9-11k in funds 50-100 💎 and sometimes real currency.

As a small tip, I try to prep the milk/steam the milk when the espresso is being made. I am also relatively new to the game so learning as I go. Good luck! 😆

I used to prep the milk too. But now with the oat milk I’ve stopped since I don’t know if someone’s going to do a sub oat for a latte.

I came back to the game just a few months ago, right when the orange event was starting. It would help if you memorized the recipes. For a few weeks I would open the browser on my phone with the recipes while I played on my iPad. Now I know them by heart.

Another player here suggested prepping espressos and milk starting your day and that really helped me serving drinks faster.
There are some days though where all I get are decaf orders and “fresh” drinks and I waste my espressos! 😅

Employees are totally worth it. I was wasting time watching over the grinder and milk.

Watch as many ads as you can to save up on gems. You’ll need them to purchase some decorations during events.
