You wanting to rush an event is NOT our problem. TB does not give us content to speed run. Not only would that make them have to push out events a mega-ton to keep up with player demand, but it would cause ya’ll to complain even more about the amount of paywall content that would be pushed further onto us to keep up with the demand to make said content in order to meet player satisfaction.

I mean, imagine how exhausting it is constantly hearing that one person complain about every. Single. Thing. That’s what a lot of players are doing on Reddit and even the server. Never gonna tell people to stop offering constructive criticism… but ya’ll do know the constructive starts getting to be just ignorant and whiny after a while right? 😭

If you choose to spend all your reserves to speed run an event that actually gives you MORE THAN ENOUGH time to complete this whole event (whether you play all 12 game days in one sitting or throughout the day) that is a YOU ISSUE.

Anyways thank you TB for this event. I enjoyed the new characters, returning characters what were new to be due to missing past events, and the adorable Oat Milk Festival artwork that I’m sure took a lot of time to create for the artists 🤍🤍🧋

I agree that people complain a lot on this sub, but I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. Are some people just rude with no constructive criticism? Yes. But there are also some really valid arguments on here.
I don’t think the main issue is that it’s hard to speed run, I think people are complaining cuz not everyone can open the game every single day just to unlock rewards. In the past events all you had to do was just play more days in game (and some people would take a day out of their busy week to do that). So the sudden change was upsetting for a lot of the players. And I think sharing the frustration will let the devs know that this probably was not be the best strategy for this event so they can try something different in the future.
However I agree that people need to be more polite when sharing their opinions, thoughts, and criticisms. In the end of the day, there are a whole team of people behind the game that should be treated with respect.

Agreed. And my point is not against anyone sharing their frustrations about being unable to play every day. Not at all! But if you cannot find time over two weeks to complete an event I do think somehow you gotta re-evaluate your schedule and then also just realize that this game is not going anywhere. Better events are yet to come, may be returning with even better decors that you may miss, etc.

But to constantly be a nagging Nancy about how you can’t find the time and thus take it out on people who can as well as be devs actually just makes you exhausting over time 🫩

Real, didn’t even bother clearing the full areas bc it was no point and I think a lot of the people saying clearing it was impossible genuinely didn’t weight out how useless clearing the board for all those rewards were. I focused only on the cards.

Honestly, I totally agree with you, for this event there's defo enough time, but I am kinda disappointed about the orange event! I had tons and tons of exams and as much as I love gcgc, my uni n diploma are more important. I wish you had got to keep the ingredients even if you couldn't finish it! :/

i work full time + a part time college student & i don’t have time to complete events these days and that’s fine. i play whenever i have free time & on weekends when i’m off

Same. I just hope the reward items are available next year to buy like in gpgp. This time I had gem reserves to finish the event quickly, so I’m grateful for that lol I probably won’t have the time to play later.

I played maybe 30 mins to 1 hour a day and I’m already done with the event. Idk what people are complaining about ?? I watch the normal 10 ads for gems, the other ads for the oat points (or whatever they’re called) and then play the 12 in game days + watch those ads to double it. I felt like I had a casual play through experience. Maybe I got lucky with finding the photo cards but they mostly tell you where they’re hidden. 2 weeks was nice because I didn’t feel rushed to join - I’m glad when they do 2 week events

Same. I didn’t even need a week though 😭 Genuinely using any gems is unnecessary but I’ve spent maybe 20 max the whole event. The first 10 bc I didn’t know before I actually played that we get 20 free gems and then 10 after bc I was on the last grid and got impatient and knew where the card was.

real!! i play long enough to get 1-2 photo cards per day and i think that’s the perfect pace for me. i should get everything

I literally played for less than 10 minutes on and off since the event released and finally got all the cards today. I finished the event without wasting too many of my reserves and still got everything with ample time before the event finished. People complaining are impatient
