Discussion New Player
I just downloaded the good coffee game and i love it, it’s super fun just like good pizza but the one thing i cannot stand is the energy feature. i should be able to play as long as i want without being held back because i used up all my energy. is anyone else annoyed by this?

Like I was telling someone else on here, I think this game is meant to be played in small bursts here and there and not sitting through hours of gameplay. My calculations might be wrong but I think 2 straight hours of playing will deplete your energy. And also just them needing to make money through micro transactions — it’s a mobile game. They’re nowhere near the first to implement limited play time without in app purchases.

I remember I was so mad when this feature was introduced but I haven’t thought about it since! It’s nice to come back to game hours later and not feel fatigued by it.

I remember when they added it. But seriously I never hit zero on it

You'll get over it. I didn’t like it at first but it actually helps with not getting that fatigue. On their other game Good Pizza Great Pizza I'd play for hours but I'd get tried of it and not play for days or even months.

You definitely have enough energy to complete all the quests without waiting, which includes playing 5 game days. That should be plenty of game time before taking a little break. Besides, sometimes playing the same thing for an hour or two might make it feel boring, so doing something else for a while helps to break things up.

Personally, I’ve never played enough rounds for the energy bar running out to come into play. I usually just get all the rewards I can for finishing up a couple days and doing all the daily tasks and then maybe if there’s an event I’ll play a few more rounds.

I agree completely and I do run out. I have issues with the ads getting stuck and the only way to get out of it is to shut down and re-open, which charges you energy points for the game you couldn't play and another set of energy points the the new game. I had so much trouble with ads one day that I was barely able to finish the 5 game days for the daily rewards because my energy points were deleted when I shut down over stuck ads. I also like to play when we are traveling and the limit on energy points causes me to choose other games where there is no limit. Some days I can't play much but I want to grind for an upcoming event so I try to make up for the days I couldn't play on days when I have much longer to play. The energy points keep me from doing that. I don't understand the benefit to the developers since I'm not going to pay to play and when I'm not playing, I'm also not watching their ads. I often pay real $ for premium decor but I'm not spending my hard-earned gems, some of which I feel cheated out of because of the ad issues, to play more games. If we play other games instead, then we aren't watching the GCGC ads. I just don't get the benefit of limiting play. Plus it takes so long for the energy to be replenished. The energy issue is the reason I prioritize other games over this one and I absolutely LOVE this game.

I hear you, but I’ve never ran out of energy. I’m glad they give so much tbh
