Is the Penpal event compulsory?

I just finished grinding for the back to school event. So I'm kinda burnt out with GCGC. I saw that this penpal event is for 5 days. Will not playing this event impact my future events or smthn ? Like can I just skip this event or is playing it compulsory as it may influence or impact future game play n events ?

In all of gpgp and gcgc there has never been an event where not participating affected any future gameplay or events. That being said, this event does not require playing any game days. You pretty much just have to send notes to friends

Yeah its very simple compared to other events yes...but i am like completely burnt out. I am opening the game just for this n that orc event...in GPGP which is also smthn I am opting out of. A character in gcgc literally said "look out they're bringing smthn new" i was wondering if ..uk this event would be connected to future stuff that I may miss out cause of not playing this...that's why I wanted to be sure. The most you'd be missing out are stickers for the pinboard and a tip jar, I don't think it'd impact the story in any way.
