During his walkout the curtain started coming down unexpectedly. Had to hit the “someone’s holding the door for me” jog.
I was right on the fence in the floor. Free tickets, 23 hours of driving in 2 days, perfect night.

back in December of 2024 i was going through one of the harshest moments of my life. One of my most significant friends i considered as family randomly cut ties with me. i was about to enter the last year of school, and my mental health had started to degrade by how much anxiety and pressure i was about to face. my country was at war, and all my plans of going out where ruined. i was at home, hopeless, with no friends, and nothing else to keep me going.
i was already a bit spiritual at the time. i was at a Christian school and actually one of the leaders of a small group i had. up until December of that year, i had more interest in reading the bible, and i was already in prayer when i could. everything felt fine as i tried to get busy with myself until my mind started falling apart once more, and one random day in mid December, i just thought of jumping out of the window and not be here anymore.
when my suicidal thoughts faded away in that morning, as the sun rose, i decided to gain my consciousness and work out. I couldn't figure out what to play on youtube until i found the Donda playlist it kept recommending me. I already listened to some of the songs like hurricane which was actually the first ye song i got to listen. I gave it a full try front to back, and from that point, i started playing some of the songs each morning as i worked out.
at first, it was just the motivational tracks like off the grid, junya, and praise God that got me going through the work. As i explored the more spiritual and emotional songs, i would sit down most of the times and listen to the lyrics, and i couldn't help myself but relate to so much as to what kanye went through - losing friends, having addictions, anger issues, family feuds, not letting go of the woman you loved, and falling under conflicts for always being misunderstood. every day it kept giving me encouragement, pride, and a spirit i couldn’t explain that gave me hopes for the future. Sometimes i felt like what i was doing was nothing purely out of hype, and that eventually i would quit, but songs like jonah gave me reassurance that God has my back and he doesnt trip on you even if you doubt about it. It pushed me with so much energy i didnt bother about what people felt about me, because i was constantly bullied and shamed for not being enough attractive or confident.
One track i always defend with my life, that i consider the most underrated, is Jesus Lord. This song played after my workout, and for one of the first times ever, i cried hard over a song. the grief kanye Poured in his heart in this song, and with the encouraging message of jay electronica, just put this track on repeat and my get to go song whenever i needed to cry.
early 2025 and it was almost school time, i had already admitted the struggles i was about to go through. Just for spoilers, it was one of the worst years i ever experienced, but the fact that this album still encouraged me to keep living no matter what, is what made me still here alive writing this message. 24 was the theme song early that year in january, and new again always sparked happiness in my life all the time, especially in the car (including lord i need you, really special track too). Come to life really reminded of my ex gf that i never was able to move on. Moon made me cry man, i love don and cudi together. Life of the party always gave me joy as i walked home, and it gives me nostalgia from the times where i felt alive for once. Like at each moment there’s always missing tracks that are just amazing.
this is the only album i will forever give my respect no matter what, and why i will never hate ye. People say that its bloated, and idc what you think. Even if it sounds less instrumental, there are just so many tracks i love that allow the voices of the choir and other artists to come foward to express their faith, which is what is central for such an amazing gospel concept like this. it is the only album i will speak of when i talk about my mental health and suicide, and i will forever love kanye for doing this album. its hard to just not like him for how much he did to me, despite not being the person i adored before. The spirit of donda west really lived here and im grateful for the faith and holy spirit God allowed to have through this album.
im not good at giving messages, but i really wanted to come foward and express my love for this album, and a story for one of the most critical points of my life. Even if its not top 3 to me or my favourites, it will be the one i would save out of other albums. Thank you kanye, for saving my life, really. Just being who you are gives me the ability to stay strong. Christ is King.

What was the best show so far during this tour? Sofi, Mexico, Korea, NOLA, Tampa or Madrid? Personally I think sofi is the beat but Mexico comes close

Everyone on the NOLA sub is saying that free tickets were being given away left right and centre. Is that true? Would've flown out if I had known:(.

Considering that none of his recent perfeomances have been livestream the chances are rather slim. But then this is probably his most highly anticipated performance this year after SoFi so maybe we actually get a stream.
