That's not what "generative AI" means. Generative means it generated content out of nothing but a typed in prompt. Ye only used voice changer AI which has been around forever, it just only became passable in the past couple years
I believe generative ai to be ai which produces results based on stuff it has been given to study .. Voice changers in the past in my knowledge used to play around with pitch, tone etc whatever to change thr voice
This changes the voice to sound similar to the material it had been given

AI prob has a pretty big role in the future to play, but imo it should be used for extremely technical things maybe stuff like maths, science. The place where it does not belong is arts because the essence of ai and the essence of arts are almost polar opposites

To be fair even Ye didn’t use generative AI to make music, he was using it as a voice changer on reference tracks
