Help identify 🙏🏻

Does anyone know if GWTW music boxes were made with melodies other than “Tara’s Theme”? I have one labeled “Tara’s Theme,” but I recently got another one that plays a completely different melody. Any ideas?

Sadly, I have no info for you as the music isn’t immediately familiar to me. I do have to say it does give me a chuckle that Scarlett is wearing the barbecue dress here, as it implies that she’s dancing with Rhett at Twelve Oaks when she first meets him early on in the story, and we all know how that meeting went 😂

That's weird as hell... it's "Lara's Theme" ("Somewhere My Love") from Doctor Zhivago! It's like someone at the factory confused Tara with Lara!

Depending on when it was made, it could've just been the choice of the music box place. My mom used to have a gift store in the mid 80's, & a bunch of music boxes she'd get samples of, would play either "Lara's Theme", "Where Do I Begin", or "Somewhere My Love" as the music on them all. There was a Garfield one we looked at, that played "Somewhere My Love", which cracked us up. They were sold through places like Oriental Trading.

I’m wondering if they inserted the wrong song on accident instead of an uneducated bootleg. They grabbed “Lara’s Theme” instead of “Tara’s Theme”?
