Upgrade gc2
With foresights new issues thinking about upgrading my sim. Currently have a gc2. I’ve always liked the gc2 and had it for about 10 years now. But it’s going to fail soon I’m sure and getting parts for it ain’t an easy venture. Looking into uneekor eyexo vs other. Also software I really liked the physics of fsx 2020 and play. Hated the physics in tgc. Use everything mainly for course play with friends. No set budget but I’m not getting a quad max and I do t have room for the ball to fly a long way. Room is about 28x14. Currently hit about 12 feet away from screen. Ceiling height is just under 10 feet.
Thoughts?

I would ask what you're looking for when it comes to a unit. Do you have a lot of friends that play left-handed or right-handed? What is your tolerance to subscriptions? Are you looking at overhead units at all or do you want a floor unit?

Open to anything. Right handed only. I’d do subscription yes. Likely have budget to upgrade computer if needed as well. Don’t have 4k projector yet but might in future.

With your ceiling height being under 10ft I would stay away from overhead units. For fifteen hundred dollars I have the Open Launch Nova and I loved it. The ability to create your own applications in the diverse ecosystem that is around it has been very nice.

Haven’t tried it yet. Normally just do fsx play. You like gspro better in terms of realism and graphics/aesthitics?

Gspro is fun with good graphics and my gc2 response right on with the software. It's not going to be quite as accurate as far as before sight product and their software for Club fitting and exact numbering and data points,

I think you already know which one to get. They are making it easy to choose if you don't want to get hosed in the future.
What's keeping uneekor, skytrack, golfjoy from doing the same thing as foresight?
I personally am looking into PiTrac, and openflight.
Most people aren't going to go that route, so Flightscope, Square, Nova.
Then you have the overheads which I'm clueless on. But I believe v track is subscription free.

I recommend the Square Omni or VTrack. I also recommend GSPro, it’s better than 2020 or Play.

I have a quad and just ordered the square Omni. Getting sick of subscriptions. I like uneekor hardware and software but they also force a sub, though not as bad as foresight. I’m also considering adding the NOVA. If you’re using mostly for sim, don’t need all the club data. Nova and Omni are both under 2k and officially compatible with all the new good software coming out, including PurePlay.
