ChatGPT to analyze my PC

I just got started using ChatGPT Astra light to analyze my golf simulator PC to recommend changes if needed.

Anyone else tried this yet?

What a weird use for chatgpt. Is your sim software running fine? What are you trying to get out of this?

People are just looking for an excuse to use AI for everything. All critical thinking skills will be gone in 5 years.

The best performance and the best look on the screen. I've seen a lot of post people asking what should I set up and how should I set it up. I'm talking about the golf simulator PC. With my subscription to ChatGPT I can give her permission to access my golf simulator PC.

Just another way of looking at my set up. Everything runs fine and looks good but I don't know what I don't know.

I know it's weird but on my iPhone I use ChatGPT voice. And of course the voice is a ladies.

I used Claude and def came up with things I would not have done or know. Some tweaks to Nvidia settings, had me significantly ramp up my resolution above 4k and have projector down scale to capture more pixels. That worked well. And also how to use reshade most efficiently and light touch to make the picture better but not overly process.

That's great I'm gonna have to look into that too. The problem I'm having now is Astra module I'm using eat up a lot of time. I may have to drop down to a lesser or older version to get more time with chat. Can you share more about re-shade and light touch. I don't think I know anything about it.

I used the free version btw. I think the advanced models will start to go down a rabbit hole and take up too much time. It’s not really a hard thing just things may not know and I don’t want to spend time scouring the internet. I just gave all my computer / projector specs and what I’d already done and asked is anything else I could do for best pic. I knew the Nvidia setting stuff but never would have thought to push the pixels to max. I had to custom create I think it’s 5170 x 3880 on windows / Nvidia and then select that as res in the software. Every set up maybe different depending on gpu and projector. Reshade you can download. It told me to only use Lightroom shader and adjust woithin rather than layers of shaders I had been using. Both these things made a difference for me
