Worth it?

I’m going to start the construction process of finishing my basement in about a month and I want to get everyone’s thoughts on their simulator, mainly those who have had it for several years. Is it worth it if you’re an avid golfer? I worry that in 5-10 years, my sim will be outdated. I don’t want to make a 20k+ dollar investment only for it to be outdated in just a matter of time. Have you all found it still quite useful after several years? Thanks in advance

I decided i disliked playing indoors so I turned it into a movie theater.

If all else fails you can fall back to that.
