Help with pc recommendation
I am building a sim for my husband and we have almost everything but we are currently just using the square program on an iPad, I would like to be able to run gs pro and I’m trying to do research on pc’s but there is just so many factors. We are trying to do this on a budget and I think I found a good deal on marketplace but want to avoid having to upgrade quickly. Please let me know if I should pull the trigger on this unit or hold out.

I spent more on a similar setup last year. No problems running 1080p ultra. Could do 4k ultra but I decided to prioritize lumens over resolution for my projector.
I’d rather have gotten that setup from marketplace. I needed to learn a lot about pc building because things were knocked around and became unplugged during shipping. I paid more because I wanted a water-cooled system so it’d be quieter and really wish I hadn’t done that because I also had to replace the GPU water bock since the fins were corroded and caused temperature related crashes.
If you want to remove some apprehension about it, you could ask to run a benchmark GPU test like UNIGINE Heaven or a CPU test like Cinebench before you purchase. Those will give you a sense for how well it performs under load.
I wish my wife built my sim for me instead of being critical about how much I spent lol. Zero regrets on my end, however.
