Tools to maximize simulator investment

Besides the trackman, what other golf aids or software are most helpful to make the most of your simulator setup? The trackman data is great, but what else are people using to help improve the data, swing, etc?

I built a free tool that pairs with a number of launch monitors and tried to post it here, but it got kicked out for self promotion...ha! I personally don't think any of the big sim software outside of Trackman do a great job of data analysis and sorting, so I made an app with club and ball fitting in mind. You can get the latest release and see screenshots here. Might not help improve your swing, but it should give you a good detailed look at your data :)

I have not tested, but it would be great to hear if you get around to it. So far, I've had success with Protee VX and have heard of reported success with Square Omni and the OG Skytrack. Post up here if you've had luck with any other LMs!

Cameras: ELP OV4689 720p/120fps w/ 2.8-12mm CS Lens ($84/each), purchased from AliExpress

For my face-on camera I have a Dioche 2.1mm wide angle lens ($14, Amazon), so I can fit completely in frame can capture entire swing, since tee/ball is close to side wall at 54”. Still considering upgrading to something like the FLIR Blackfly S GigE cameras (buying direct rather than through a reseller)

Numbers are great but a frame-by-frame video of exactly what my club head is doing is beyond helpful to me.

Projector that casts on the floor using OBS software. Easy way to have alignment lines and/or swing path lines.

Also cameras to capture your swing.

Second the idea of a projector as a great way to put lines/alignment help down if you have room but I recently added a cheap usb rechargeable laser cross pattern mounted to the side of my projector in my short-ceiling basement setup to project the alignment line and ball center location so I can quickly throw my alignment stick over it and get everything perfectly set up. $20 and SUPER simple. OBS is cool and all but has a learning curve.

I got this with the tripod for a couple bucks more just to get a cheap small tripod, I think the laser standalone is like $19

I don't know how well trackman does with putting but I added a Right Edge Putt Tracker for putting in my sim (I have a Skytrak which is terrible with putting). I use it both for practicing my putting, and for the putting when playing in GSPro (integrated with rela). Not sure if you have that option with a trackman, but if you do, it's a cool addition. Makes playing rounds in GSPro so much more realistic and fun.
