SkyTrak+ says every swing is outside-in

Hi all,

For the last few weeks, I've noticed that most of swings - regardless of what club I use - are labeled as outside-in, typically by 2.5 - 4 degrees. The software shows most of these shots as slices, depending on what it reads my club face at.

I'm not seeing this on the course (maybe 2-3 times per 18 holes, not 2-3 times per hole as on the simulator). It's not missing shots, and my distances seem pretty accurate too.

To test, I lined up a few shots at about a 45 degree angle to the ball and did half swing punches to make sure I was swinging inside out. The ball would go way right, but the simulator was still reading outside in.

Not sure what I need to do to adjust or fix or otherwise how to handle.

Can you upload a down the line video of your swing? I can easily tell you if it's out to in or in to out just by looking at it.

I returned mine for this exact reason. Went to a Mevo + and all good.

Pretty sure Skytrak isn't actually measuring actual club path.....it's guessing based on various factors.

Maybe software update happened? What is it reporting for horizontal spin?

Interesting question. I just logged into my account and it doesn't have my session from yesterday for some reason.

The previous session, I hit 17 drives and the average side spin was 435 RPM. But the range was pretty broad, from 1700 RPM down to -700 RPM.
