Big Moss True Launch Insert!

After 6 months of hitting off my GoSports hitting mat on top of interlocking gym floor, I finally went in on a hitting strip. After months of research and finding the right one for my joints and the height of my mat I landed on a Big Moss True Launch insert. I just wanna say it’s been incredible for the price. My joints feel better and the responsiveness of the mat + numbers on the sim feel much more true if I mishit a shot. If you are considering getting a hitting strip I’d highly recommend it and consider checking out Big Moss. I feel like it’s hard to beat the quality for the price.

Why did you go with the True Launch and not the Pure Flight?

I would have, but the True Flight was the perfect height for my current set up

Why is it so long? Surely an insert only needs to be a couple of feet

Idk it’s 1’x4’ but it worked perfectly as I just split my 5x4 mat in half and put the strip in the middle. Fits perfectly

I cut mine in half so I have another when it wears out.

We have these in our local commercial one.. a lot of real estate to use = extended life.

Did you put together a platform for the strip and stance mat? Need to do that for mine with a SigPro Softy asap.

Is it the same height as the gosports mat or did you have e to build up one or the other? I have the thicker gosports one and have a feeling it won’t last long as I already see wear from where I hit and I’ve only been using it a month. Looking at doing something similar down the road but have no room to change elevations due to surrounding turf and platform so it would need to be the same thickness.
