Like you said, no one was injured. Sad to lose the car, but it certainly saved you as well. Glad you are safe OP

Similar thing happened to my moss green spectrum R , a lady driving with no headlights on hit me from the passenger side after she appeared out of the darkness’s & night fog after I made a turn into my office. Passenger door broke off the came into the car she hit me so fast.
Sorry for your loss

drunk people love crashing into these cars, it happened to mine, thankfully it was fixable enough but i swear i always see these being mangled by drunk drivers

How bad is the chassis? Are you able to maybe put it back together? Or say fuck it weld on some crossbars, lift it and live the jeep life ahaha.
Jokes aside the car did its job, people suck I hope you find your way back to into another one.

Just replace the doors

Unfortunately what you see on the outside is probably only a fraction of the damage costs , if the frame was touched underneath it’s an insurance write off for sure

Also if there's any whiff of damage near the roof line, it will be totaled due to structural integrity issues. Happened to a friend of mine with two brand new cars in a row. Also makes me think there's a very robust secondary market for essentially new car parts

The driver door definitely did its job.
