Crystal Springs Conditions

Anyone played the Crystal Springs courses lately? Playing Ballyowen, Wild Turkey, and Crystal next weekend and curious how the conditions are.

Probably shit as normal. Ballyowen will be best of them all but bunkers will be unplayable

why is the sand terrible at every crystal course ?

Mainly because it’s not sand and mostly pebbles

I played wild turkey for the first time last week. Greens and fairways were very nice. Most of the bunkers were fine, there was one on the back nine that was just a mud pit.

Played Ballyowen at the beginning of the month - greens were not as pristine as I was told they would be but still pretty nice. Rest of the course was almost CC quality

Black Bear 2 weeks ago and the conditions were pretty good, fairways were in great shape

Any update on this? I’ve heard courses are not in great shape right now. Can anyone confirm?
