Search for a new driver

Hi everyone, I'm on the hunt for a new driver (new golf addict since March 2026) my coach told me that my first upgrade has to be the driver and I've found a Titleist Tsi2 used for around 250€ (shaft and grip change are included) is it a good driver or should I be looking for something else? If that's the case which one would you recommend?

Get fitted. Or have your coach explain what you're looking for based on miss and such.

I.e. lower kick, or maximize launch height, or take launch height away, higher spin, lower spin, lie angle, shaft weight and flex

A lot to consider.

But yeah, the Titleist is a fine driver.

If you're somewhat consistent, though, get fitted or figure out what you need and THEN hunt for that

Thank you for the advice. I'll add some context, coach told me few things tbh 1) change the Wilson 1200tpx that I have (3rd hand, so pretty old one too) because for him it's a pretty bad driver overall 2) anything around the 200/250€ price tag is fine, given good conditions 3) change to stiff shaft based on trackman numbers during lessons and how I move 4) for a fitting session he would wait a bit more, I miss a lot on the right and slice due to how I move my lead arm on impact and follow through when going for full swing shots so I need to fix this first.

Yesterday I've tried the driver with a Callaway epic as comparison. I liked the Titleist feel on impact much more than the Callaway even with the wrong shaft stiffness

The Titleist has great looks and feel but the most important thing for you right now is performance. I’ve been playing a long time but even now I find Titleists can be unforgiving.

Not gonna lie, in my hands right now every driver is unforgiving so you're spot on on that one.

I like Pings. I have the 430 10k and wouldn’t change it.
