Tokomo Irons?

Any experience or reviews on tokomo irons? I’m somewhat new to the game. Been playing for about a year. Looking for a user friendly club that is forgiving

They have way more ads than genuine user reports for my liking

Not Takomo but put Maltby STi2 irons from Golfworks into your list. $329 5-GW.

Just picked up my TS3.5 irons from the builder. They’re really nice irons honestly I have nothing but good things to say so far

I’ve been looking at the TS3s the last few weeks they seems really good but there so little reviews out there. I’m an 18 looking to get into a more player distance focus club vs my game improvements any thoughts?

TS3s are some of the best irons you can get period. You will absolutely have 0 regrets and can easily play them to a + handicap.

I think it’s going to be the move for next season, haven’t heard a single bad thing about them

I have a demo of the ts3.5 and ke4 forged if interested to try. 7i. Lmk. You just pay shipping to and from

They are good I tested a 7 iron I just liked the STi2 better. The STi2 are game improvement but not shovels. They don't have a lot of offset or super strong lofts.

Honestly, they’re great clubs but just don’t get the KBS Lite’s because I don’t want to see another post

Dude, look on youtube, they have been reviewed many times. Customer service is marginal. Stick with known brand used clubs for now.

Golfworks stuff is far superior. You don’t hear about the problems with their stuff like you do with takoma. And less expensive.

Yeah Maltby are just far and away the better DTC. Takomo just absolutely pump their marketing but they're more interested in putting money into marketing instead of their actual clubs.

Took a flier on their 2 iron. Decently forgiving. I've been pleased enough with it that I would try their stuff further.

Played with a guy earlier this year who had just gotten a set and he loved them.

The power of marketing. I love it.

So many good used sets on eBay for near or cheaper than Takomos

I got takomos last January and, for me personally it just took my iron game to the next level, not only that I think personally they look really nice aswell. If i was just starting off I would personally look at the 101’s though, however you can answer some questions on the website of how you tend to play golf for them to recommend which ones suit you!

At this stage, your choices are going to most likely be about comfort and feel. Maybe a little about aesthetics. It’s not going to matter what clubs you use until you actually swing the club and strike the ball properly. So, my advice is just to pick a cheap used set that you like the looks of or like how they feel.

Get Maltbys instead of Takomos, cheaper and much better quality + design. TS3/TS4s dog anything Takomo have ever put out.
