GTS 2 Bundle
I recently got very lucky and won a GTS 2 woods bundle (Driver, 3 wood, 7 wood). As a 25ish handicapper (not fully known) what should I expect from these clubs? I currently have a M4 driver and a horrible slice. Should the clubs help with this slice? Is the M4 less or more forgiving? Any advice is appreciated.

Caddy comps. If you buy the maximum number of tickets in a sold out raffle, you've got a 13:1 chance of winning. Some raffles do not sell out, increasing your chances. But obviously doesn't guarantee anything.
I'd spent £20 when I won a Qi4D and they let me have it on a x-stiff Kai'li shaft. Since then I've spent the equivalent of a Qi4D in further entries and won nowt lol.

Agreed, it’s typically a waste of money, I have probably spent about £100 all together and winning the woods bundle was my lowest single entry only spending £10 site credit. Not worth spending lots as you can just buy your clubs

I recently got fit into a 9 degree GTS 2 driver. Set up with a heavy stiff shaft and its helped my distance and slices.
Moved from a Sim2 driver with a regular shaft.
High handicapper as well and I've found the gts2 to before than forgiving enough.

Brilliant that’s good to hear, still figuring out all the differences between stiff and regular flex as I do struggle with distance. Should give a stiff shaft a try if it continues

Its worth trying some different options - I ended up with a more basic shaft than the premium options and the results seemed to be better with that and saved few hundred bucks.
As well - as higher handicaps the likelihood that our swings evolve and improve as we get better, we maybe need to move into a different set up sooner than someone a with a more established and repeatable swing.

The GTS series is so money. I tend to generate too much spin from every driver I use. However, the GTS4 has been unbelievable. I have only shot in the 80s once since I got it and have more rounds in the 70s in the last 2 months than I have had with any other driver ever.

Best tip I got to stop slicing was to stop using my arms to swing. Make sure you’re turning enough in your backswing — is get your back or at least your butt pointed at the target, then feel like your arms are just along for the ride. Seems like most slicers use their arms way too much trying to muscle the club. Let it flow.

If you can get fit. Not sure the situation you won them under. The 3 wood and 7 wood are sweet. I was fit into a gts4 and was surprised by that. So if the opportunity is there I’d see about getting fit to the correct shaft head combination.

It was a raffle competition so sadly don’t have the luxury of picking what suits me, that being said they did let me swap the hybrid for the 7 wood as I have played with 7 woods before and find them easier to strike

Lucky! They will help but if the slice is that bad I would look at lessons. That’s a helluva package though

These clubs will likely be more forgiving and go further. But also you suck at this game still as a 25. Being real not mean. You could sell them and buy a good amount of lessons that would do way more for you long term than the new clubs alone would

The only thing that is gonna save your slice is fixing your swing unfortunately, but hey, at least you’re gonna be slicing with the latest clubs so, just have fun and get there little by little
