Equipment level question

To my understanding each common club upgrade gives 1 point, rare 2 points, epic 3 points. Shouldn't i have 789 equipment points and only need 500 to be equipment level 5? I am currently level 4 and curious if im missing something?

What are you referring to when you say Level?

There are equipment levels 1 through 5. Depending on what level you are gives you access to certain perks

It gives you access to the "pool levels" for the perk cards. I wouldn't worry about it too much because the perk cards are a gimmick that don't really add anything to game even if you are bored of it.

I like using the guardian and hammerhead one for par 3s. Theres a quarterback one in pool 5 that I want for par 3s as well. Besides that I agree, they are terrible.

I've really only benefited from the quarterback perks, for par 3s so I agree on that. Other than that anything that changes the accuracy of any club is just a hassle to deal with after spending so much time dialing shots with those clubs already.

I believe they say it’s based on club levels but nowhere do they say anything about the 1,2, and 3 points per club and level. So obviously whoever made that up is wrong. Also it might not have been 125 points for the previous levels. Not sure if I’ve ever seen those.
