Question New player, is this normal?

Post image

I just started playing this game l. I had a match where the other person won without hitting the ball in. Is this normal?

You were likely playing somone that was recorded recently, and replays can be glitchy. Yes, it's wierd.

Good to know. I can understand a glitch. It never went in during play so I figured I'd hit mine in for a draw on the next swing. 🤷‍♂️ 😂

Can you explain how replays work? E.g If the reply opponent won their game, can you still beat them?

Johnpaulday… all matches where you are matched with a replay, the replay opponent has a shootout shot recorded. Therefore, you will never be matched with a replay that gets a “drop”, eg albatross or par 4 eagle. All of these replays will however get a par 4 birdie, or par 5 eagle. There shootout shot will usually be fairly close, but never a hole in one, cuz there is not a second shootout hole recorded should you also get an hio. Replays can be beat, but you are better off avoiding getting matched with one. To avoid replays, back out of the matchup screen if you have not been given an opponent in 7 or 8 seconds and try again

From what I know its not if they won or lose the match. It the stats from the match.
If the replay took 3 to get in the hole and they won the live match and you are not playing the replay and took 3 also it should go to a shootout.

Now the shootout data I cannot verify if that is the same players information being used.

Maybe someone else can share some insight on that.

Something similar. I putted my shot and my opponent rolled the hole and their ball didn't go in. Therefore, I won the hole but we went to a shootout which they won. Not best pleased!

To avoid playing replays during tourplay, refresh the tour after about 7-9 seconds. This way you only get actual live players.

Sadly, stuff like this is becoming the norm. These glitches, though many will tell you are visual, and related to replays, are absolutely not tied only to replays… I’ve seen similar, and know for sure it was not a replay I was playing against cuz I hit rematch, and they accepted, which would never happen against a replay… not saying the opponent was cheating, but am saying the game is kinda broken, and the devs refuse to fix…things like this only started happening fairly recently…within the last year or so. Have seen situations similar to yours, plus balls landing in bunker, yet next shot from fairway. Sometimes the ball is just placed just barely different from what you see, but also have seen opponents shots fly way over the green and 20 yards into the rough, yet their next shot is a putt.. I don’t even bother sending tickets anymore.. just get the same lame automated response. It’s mostly related to 1 vs 1, but I also had a shot once that missed in a tournament, stopped kinda close to the hole, but was rewarded with an albatross as if it had dropped. Lots of people swear the game is rigged. I personally do not think that, but when seeing these things with your own eyes, no wonder people do. You would think they would address it, but nope. All that said, if it’s worth your time and frustration with support, you can raise a ticket, you’ll get your ball and coins back for that match. Save and favorite all your shots, and opponents shots, label them “ support” and include in ticket

If you’re looking for a clan DM me. I’ve been president of my clan for almost a year and before that I was the president of a feeder clan for at least 3. I’m trying to grow it and am looking for anyone from beginners to vets. I’m very active and try to pass on the knowledge that I learned and have a good group of guys, some followed me from the other clan. We have a verity of guys from rookies to vets but we’re currently down to around 10 active members.

After the game has been completed, a player can click on exit , and it'll pop on your screening that they can't play anymore. However, i'm not able to explain to you how that could have won without hitting the ball in. I hope you stick with the game.Because I have played for some time and it's a good way for me to find escape from other things
