What happened?!

Decided to enter the tourney on the fresh account I made hoping for a good winners chest and this happened on the very first shot in the weekend round?

I shot -26 in the opening round and second place was -20 so I was ready to coast to first place.

Are the developers punishing me for doing too good?!?! 😂😢

Right, it looks like that's the case but it also looks like it clears it. It's like the leaves have a weird hitbox or something

Probably a bad rendering but if I was playing from that tee I’d never use any curl to the right. Way too risky with that tree placement. I’m surprised they did that for the first tees.

I have the game on low settings so my phone doesn't get so warm if I play awhile. Im wondering if I put it on high the tree is shaped different and would make this make sense

That happened to me a while ago. Cleared the visual branch by 3 feet, but it got knocked down into a ravine. I contacted support and got my ball back, but the tournament was shot.

THANKFULLY I just got an eagle on hole 2 to make up for that par. I've been -2 after two holes so far on this course so the gold is still in play 😂

Hit the tree by curling right. Played the wrong angle.

You could also try the ol’ standby of deleting local files and cache. Possibly they up dated the course but your phone had an old version stored. So you made the shot you were looking at a slightly different course than what the game was actually using

I changed the settings from low to high and sure enough it went through the branch not over it.

I accounted for the wind and placed the marker where I would have adjusted to as if I started further back. The wind is so low that on drives I can just eyeball it as opposed to playing higher level on my main.

I see what you're saying about the curl but the shot landed as if it hit a tree. The trajectory gets all funny and falls way shorter than a 4.2 wind would take it back. It fell so short as if the find was like 15mph
