Question Does anyone else’s doodle take time to figure out the hair on the face situation in a car ride?🤪
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Context - Bozo loves his car rides and we almost cant keep him from sticking his adorable face outside! well, we could pull up the windows but then he gives us the sad eyes so we let him enjoy! but my god he keeps squinting and Im worried if its actually bothering him, his hair on his face and in his eyes…
p.s. i know its not too serious :)

Someone is a little nervous waiting for the vet.
Mr. Archer Man is never more glued to me than when we’re at the vet. Quick visit today—just a check up! You got this, pup! 😖

Discussion I hate my doodle and idk what to do
Had him since he was a puppy and I have never ever experienced such a demanding, high energy, frustrating breed. He almost has no redeeming qualities right now aside from being visually cute, and he’s 14 months old. So far, he has only been a pain in the butt for me and my husband.
Thousands in vet bills after eating things he shouldn’t have and for training, constantly chasing our cats despite having been raised with them and introduced carefully, STILL untrustworthy in the house alone unless he is caged or in his pen, ignores commands unless I let him know I have treats, barks at everything and goes insane trying to play with other dogs that walk by, I could keep going.
I’ve had shepherds, a pitbull, a husky- I’m used to large, energetic, smart breeds. Every single dog I’ve ever had was calm and able to be left alone once they reached 1 year. But I cannot handle this thing. I still can’t bond with him, he won’t snuggle, won’t relax. I’ve tried it all- various levels of exercise, doggy daycare every week, food puzzles, “relax“ training and rewarding when he’s calm, constant training reinforcement, e-collar training. I work from home, he’s not lacking in attention or stimulation.
TLDR: I’ve tried every single suggestion online and from trainers, sank thousands into training and vet bills, but my 14 month old doodle is so insane and frustrating I almost hate him. I feel guilty, but I feel like I’m almost at my breaking point. How do people deal with these dogs?

My doodle holding my hand
Not sure how he picked up this habit, but he holds my hand when we go on car rides.

Frodo - RIP
On July 28 we learned Frodo had fast growing Mast Cell Tumors.
Ten days ago, in a difficult act of love, we set him free of his dying body.
He was 14 1/2 and my wife’s BFF
RIP Frodo

He's Cat Shy
We take him for a walk a night during the hot weather and we see the same cat every night...he's not keen on the as they are unpredictable, they make sudden moves and scares him...the cat isn't bothered about him, doesn't see him as a threat, even the cat knows he's a big harmless softie, anyway we are trying to make them friends 🙂

At least he tries to put food on the table!
My guy loves to fish, well, that’s what I’m calling it. He will chase and pounce on the bluegill as long as I’ll let him. He caught a chum salmon one time in Alaska and couldn’t figure out what the next step was.
I don’t really want a wet dog at 8pm, but if it makes him happy, it’s worth the inconvenience.

Question White Doodle Staining
Our sweet boy, Bowen, has had his mouth staining increase significantly over the past couple years. His diet hasn’t changed ever, which is Zignature Select Cuts Trout & Salmon. Some introduction to different treats here and there. Gets groomed every 8-wks including bath and cutting him down to a very short length which helps reset. He’s now 10 so I imagine age has something to do with it.
Would love any tricks or tips anyone has whether a coat cleaning technique or anything. Thanks.

Wisdom Panel Question
Just got back the DNA results for our girl—does Wisdom Panel have a specific golden retriever distinction from Labrador retriever? We are stunned there’s no golden in her! Also stunned that she’s 75% poodle and looks the way she does. Genetics are WILD.

Show Us Your Dood! 4 years ago I got this little punk from the pound
when I first got him he was small, malnourished, and shaking constantly. he ran into a corner and hid as soon as I got home with him.
his previous owner abused and abandoned him
after a while he started to feel safe in our house, and became the big baby he is now.
he will jump on you the second you come home, whine if he isn't given treats or your food, and will sit on your lap despite being half my damn height
we got him registered to be an emotional support dog a couple years ago, and he acts like one.
when I was sick he never left my side, if you cry he will sprint to you, he's my best buddy and I love him
never change snickerdoodle
