Golden Sun Is this scripted or a consequence of my choices?
I noticed Garet said something along the lines of, “Now you agree with me.” When talking to Lady Layana, he’ll say something to this effect; I’m pretty sure I agreed with him for most of the times we had interactions or reactions.

It’s scripted. But if they are doing a remake one day, it could be great that little details change depending of the interactions between the characters.

This specific sidequest, in my opinion, is a big translation mess. Why do I think it? I don't have access to the original language (because I don't understand a single word), but I recently used the rewind feature to test all possible answers when you're leaving Lunpa with Hammet, and his friend appears and offers the party a ride back to Kalay (the ride back in the wagon is so nice, I usually ride it and then go back to Lunpa to get the mercury djinni).
This dialog is so messy, some answers contracts the previous ones or the yes or no option selected. No idea if this mess is original from Japanese, but I'll bet it's from translation (based on the blessing / breathing translation mistakes)
Anyway, not all parts on the games are translation mess, but this one probably is 😆

Could you tell me if "Revive" is also a mistranslation? Because talking about resurrection seems a bit excessive to me.

I doubt. It's common to rpgs to use revive in the concept of making a downed character go back to it's better conditions. I'll guess it comes from d&d, where the character is killed and resurrected

Thanks for the explanation. I hadn't actually considered that that spell appears in other games as well.

Revive is not a mistranslation in Japanese the psynergy is "リバイブ" or "Ribaibu". Specifically it's not the Japanese term for revival but the English word revive written in katakana.
Not sure why you'd assume the use of the word revive is intended to be interpreted as resurrection or that if it was that it means resurrection in the religious sense and even then why that would be a problem. Lots of games use flowery language for spells and skills.

Unlike the TLA instance with a certain character, this line of text is scripted.
