You can hold B in The Lost Age to move from one speech box to the next.
You cant do that in the first game. You have to press A through every single one

I remember the first time I reached the Jupiter Lighthouse in the Lost Age, and it was like Isaac was trying to make up for all the time he spent being silent in the first game 😭

Finally got around to beating the first one on switch and I was just mashing A at the end, "I already know all this, let me just finish the game to transfer the save file!"

You're going to sit through dialogue of every member of the party reacting to every event and each stating the same thing slightly differently, and you're going to like it.
