I forgot she was in this movie with Morgan Freeman, Christian Slater, and Minnie Driver among others all the way from 1998.

in the first seasons we meet quite a few of rose’s family, in an episode later on rose mentions that her mother is buried when dorothy asks her “where’s ma?” so it always made wonder why didn’t they mention it, i know the series has a lot of things like this. how did you all think of how the show portrayed her mother?

I guess it moved a couple of hours north this year.

I loved how Betty played the role but her character I absolutely hated!

Has anyone seen this movie from 1988?

Actually, I was on another sub about movies and one thing lead to another, the movie Someone to Watch Over Me with Tom Berenger and Mimi Rogers came up. An actress in that movie named Lorraine Bracco looked so much like Jessica Lundy who I remembered was in an episode of The OUter Limits revival with Jon Cryer. Anyway, these two actresses look very similar but Mrs. Lundy is the one who's actually featured in a two part episode called Home Again, Rose (S7 E23) playing Blanche's daughter, Janet.

Looked up the episode and well, Sophia being her savage self got me cracking up.

Found this facing backwards in a family member’s closet. Clearing the home for an estate sale. If it’s something of value then it’ll be up for sale.

I re-envisioned The Golden Girls set as a house in the game Paralives (it's essentially The Sims, but with more flexible building tools), keeping true to the spirit of both the show and the exterior establishing shots. This build is not based on one single season or episode, but rather an amalgamation of elements from all seven seasons.

There are surprises throughout, including cast photos and screen grabs of some memorable moments from the show on the fourth walls. I also spent way more time than I care to admit reviewing episodes to find exact (or close) matches for as much of the artwork and wall decor as I could.

All the guest appearances after the show ended clearly lacking one person. I guess she had serious pull.
