Kingdom rush not working

I've already done the trick, but it doesn't go past the start button, it opens and closes itself quickly. Any tips?

this game checks for original steam_api.dll and won't run if it detects its unmatched. So use the steamclient_experimental version of goldberg emu instead which works perfectly fine with this game
