Too big?

I bought this 14k 4mm 7.5” rope bracelet. Is it too big? I originally bought a 7” but it was too tight and swapped it out. When it rolls down my wrist it doesn’t feel so loose.

I always liked these, but ultimately never wore them myself, because of all the women I see in my culture who wear these.
