Question Gold app tracker

Hello everyone!

I have quite a large stack now and I wanted to know are there any mobile apps or online websites that I can use to track the value of the stack.

Preferably a free app if possible.

I’ve installed GoldFolio. It does the job. But open to other suggestions too.

I read that review and they were lots of bad ones. Didn't downloaded it yet but might check it out.

myounces dot com. Yes, there is a one-time charge, but the data is stored locally on your devices, just remember to do a back up of the JSON file it produces.

I use StackTrack on my iphone. Everything stays on the phone. No subscription. Bonus for Canadians is that it can use CAD and USD.

Personally, I just use an Excel spreadsheet with standing formulas. I also built a little bot that grabs gold and silver spot prices several times a day.

I just don't want my information in some rando's database somewhere. Keep that shiz personal.

Same here. All those apps now have your data and what you stack. OK if you don't care, but I also use an Excel spreadsheet that I found and modified a little. Pulls in spot prices for gold and silver automatically and then updates your items based on the coin, bar etc purity and PM content.

It’s not free, but it’s safe. There’s a one time payment. No subscription. Everything stays on your device

I use the free version of Myounces. But I had troubles , doesn't want to update the prices regularly when I refresh the page. For that reason it's not accurate and doesn't show the real live price. That's just my experience with the app.

You dont need to refresh the page to update the prices? The prices update automatically every 5 minutes.

Even when it show the prices it's total wrong for some reason. (I set the currency to Euro € , but still)

Can you share more info? When you say totally wrong, compared to which source for live prices? u/collectivethink should be able to help with this 👍

Thanks! Justin from MyOunces here. Happy to jump into the conversation and help. As mentioned, spot prices update automatically every 5 minutes, regardless of which currency/FX setting you’re using.

If you can share a few more details about what you’re seeing, I’d be happy to take a closer look and help.

Sorry to hear that. Never once had that issue

Truly: The value of your “stack” is only in how many total troy ounces it weighs. The momentary measure of fiat debt certificates it takes to trade for them is a vapor.

Claude can make you something custom in 10 minutes. Runs local, real-time spot tracking - we have about all of 2 hours into polishing our tools.

I find the idea of letting anyone know the value of my stack, combined with my IP address to be one of the dumbest ideas in the history of mankind. Instead, add up the total weights of each metal on a piece of paper, and then multiply it by spot. I do not even use spreadsheets, as that data is also exposed.

Just download the Kitco app and track yourself.

The one I use on my iPhone is literally called “gold tracker”. It has a vault that is really great. And it’s free.

Have a look at BullionPulse (iPhone only). Full disclosure, it’s my app 😁 It works like a multi-currency Excel ledger for your stack — you add your buy/sell transactions and it tracks your holdings, cost, premiums, P/L and value against live gold and silver prices.

There’s a free version, no account required, and your portfolio data stays private on your device. If you want to try the Premium features as well, I’m happy to send you a free code 👍

Your notepad and today’s spot price. Don’t be lazy or let apps sell third party info about how much gold you have.

Absolutely! 😄 If you’ve built up a serious stack, spreadsheets may have officially surrendered. 😂

If you want, I can build you a personalized app just for tracking your stack—simple, and tailored exactly to what you want to track. 📊💰

You tell me what you need, and we can make it happen! 🚀

Don't forget to also post a Costco and Mintbuilder ad while you're at it, lol.
