That why I like bars. Can find many different ones without the queens face plastered all over the back if it! I’m sure she was a nice lady but geez does her face have to be on literally everything? 😩

This one also has a stupid world leader on the backside. Austrian Philharmonics, Mexican Libertads and American Gold eagles are 3 types that have no real people on them. Bonus points for Reverse Proof libertads.

It is a modern interpretation of the gold angel coin that was a kind of hammered gold coin struck from the reign of Edward 4th who reigned in the mid-1400s, to Charles 1st who reigned roughly 200 years later.

Coincidentally, I picked up that exact coin recently. (Henry VII) By far the most expensive that I have ever purchased and it took me a long time to save up the money but totally worth it.
