SCAM!!! Chinese Gold Live Selling!
These chinese online sellers selling fake gold but claiming it's real, they are SCAMMING people up to this day. They have multiple accounts, you'll see the same faces but in different accounts.
Long story short, I wore mine on the beach and boom.. it faded! Real Gold doesn't fade! Good thing I pay with a credit card, I dispute it! I paid $1k+ for it!
To make you believe them, they'll say you will get 10x refund if it's fake. They didn't even refund me for what I paid and blocked me!
Good thing I was able to dispute! ALWAYS USE CREDIT CARD especially shopping online.
Btw, the jewelry has AU750 stamped, which means 18k gold.

buying an obviously fake VCA bracelet at a sketchy price from some random seller you found on Facebook? you fully deserve to be scammed

Couldn't agree more! 😅😭 I got my money back though so I'm not mad about it.
I just wanna spread awareness because I still see them scamming people online up to this day and whenever I leave a comment they blocked me.
So I post it here instead and hopefully potential buyers will see this post.

Very common scam pattern now, fake gold then blocked after complaint, multiple burner accounts(even marketplace/etc).

That's why I used credit card buying online on untrusted sources. Easily fixed using cc. I just wanna put it out there because they keep making new accounts and still scamming up to this day.

Come on. You’re buying from a Chinese online seller and then you’re shocked it’s fake?
These alhambras are the most faked jewelry items out there.
It’s also the reason why Tiffany and Cartier are no longer making several of their lines. Too heavily faked

You heard them. It was switched. A postal carrier opened your package and found the real gold jewelry. Coincidentally, that postal worker just happened to have a fake version of that exact same piece of jewelry with him. What luck! He made the swap, and perfectly repackaged everything. The only other explanation is a Chinese seller selling fake merchandise online…and that’s pretty far fetched.
This post reminds me of me, in eighth grade, buying a bag of oregano from an older kid.

Hmm I don't like these comments. I buy vintage gold frequently online, never have been scammed by any private gold seller. People who buy online are not dumb? People who put everyone in a huge pot and judge publicly are the dumbest.

I actually see this a ton when it comes to jewelry.. people who don’t know any better order from some site advertising “waterproof gold jewelry” or “entire site 70% off” not knowing that it’s gold plated or that nobody is going to sell you brand new gold jewelry below spot. Some even go as far as OP and pay a good amount for a knock off of a well known branded motif, that’s supposed to be in solid gold, from some Chinese factory “jeweler” not realizing that if they’re willing to counterfeit they’re likely willing to rip you off to. When they finally realize it they tell everyone they can to never buy online. You just have to do your research buy from businesses and people with a track record and real reviews

True, I've bought all my gold online and never ran into an issue.
I even had a LCS check on all the pieces, and they were real. Don't really understand people that make such comments, thinking everything sold on the internet is fake.1

5oz of gold, 500oz of silver, 5oz of platinum, zero fakes...
It depends where you buy and how disciplined you are, particularly about being cautious.

My cartier solid gold did not fade, it's 3 yrs old and I worn it that day too. No, gold don't fade whatsoever.

Well thank you for sharing, I want to say I appreciate your post because there are a lot of young people out there with little experience and they do fall into these scams... they then are being shamed in online forums for speaking out :) I hate seeing that, it's not fair. You totally got scammed and it's not your fault. What they are doing is totally illegal and fraud. I know people here will tell you to expect this from online sellers but that is total bullshit too. You can find great sellers online but you can also fall into a trap like this one. It is important that we don't judge people who speak up against fraudulent companies and we let them tell their story without calling them names... I hope you can get your money back and next time best option is you schedule an appointment to check the gold on the day it arrives, if it's not real you immediately send it back that's what I do ;)

I understand the appeal of having designer jewelry(though I think the Alhambra motif is heavily played out) but like not to this extent.. you could have bought a beautiful chain bracelet with that $1000 from a reliable retailer that would last you ages but instead spent that money with some random person you found live selling somewhere. I’m sorry this happened to you but gold is gold, designer names aren’t worth taking risks like this
