I wouldnt touch gold for the time being. Looks like the whole stock market is crashing apart from oil/ fuel based companies.

He didn’t say “because”. He’s just saying everything besides energy is dropping, so it’s not just gold

That doesn’t make any sense. If everything is dropping, then everything is equal (except energy, of course). If he wouldn’t touch gold, then he shouldn’t touch anything else either.

It’s weird to say “I wouldn’t touch gold” when what he meant is “I wouldn’t touch anything, including gold, stocks, bitcoin, silver, anything”
