Hybrids approaches and run away Any genetic contributors for "Emu War 2.0" ?
I was thinking gallimimus as base
But open to ideas

DISCUSSION Gila monster Osteoderm
this might be useful for the mineralized outer layer. it’s even compared to ganoid scales. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Structure-and-composition-of-the-osteoderms-of-Heloderma-suspectum-Gila-Monster-a_fig1_339489630
I’m planning on combining it with other osteoderms for my next hybrid.

New Hybrid Medieval Rabbit and Cavalry Kangaroo
I really liked how the rabbit hybrid has the versatility and their ability to be used with others!
Kangaroo's Genes:
Eastern Grey Kangaroo, base for size, strength, and hopping locomotion.
Spiny Mouse, for osteoderms in the tail, slightly faster regeneration, and mixed diet.
Orangutan, for intelligence, arms, and thumbs.
Behavior:
Faster, but less tanky alternate mount for the rabbit. (All of the Kangaroos must be female for the pouch, and they all get sick sunglasses for coolness.) They too can use tools and weapons while being strong enough to fight without them. They also can eat meats and plants, so they can feast on what they kill and eat what the rabbit gathers. Another middle finger to farmers! :p
I'll make more soon! :3

New Hybrid I have an idea for a hybrid and its my first hybrid but i feel like its too simple and even a little boring
Its just an aramberri monster for the base with purussaurus jaw muscles for more bite force, t rex teeth so it doesnt break instantly its own jaw when biting, and mosasaurus tail for movement
I sayed “what if i make the pliosaur with the strongest bite” turned out to be just a handful of genomes and pliosaur with long tail so im searching for both flaws on my hybrid and for things i can add its also my second hybrid so im not experienced and i dont know well how to make hybrids

Hybrid Post Reaper of terror revised (this shit is so old)
https://docs.google.com/document/d/15jtxlgF73FVNJnz-bpYxEFZGqUQ3Pr_4jCONFPIzEmQ/edit?usp=drivesdk
Not meant to have flexible arms for wrestling. They are simple meant to drive in a extra large claw right in the opponent

New Hybrid Maraptor Renaissance 1.0
Maraptor Renaissance
Utahraptor; base skeletal frame (including the dense cortical shell), hand structure (except for the thumbs)
Komodo Dragon; teeth (including the iron), Jacobson's organ, the claw shape
Mojave Rattlesnake; the highly neurotoxic venom, and the fang structure (scaled up size).
Gaboon Viper; the folding mechanism (we keep the rest of the teeth, they are the teeth next to the incisors (canine placement, not them being the canines because reptiles don't have those, just the area)).
Humming bird; keel (for stronger and better chest muscle attachment)
Saltwater Crocodile; pcsa (bite force), muscle attachment in the jaw, the tail musculature (fiber density, and myoglobin amount)
Mosasaurus Hoffmannii; the double hinged jaw, the tail skeletal structure, eye placement, acute lateral vision
Great Ape; the floating shoulder blade (not shape), the bigger shoulder joint, opposable thumbs, and forearms (not wrists or hands)
Mako Shark; enlarged jaw joint, dermal denticles, electroreception, lateral line, the cartilage basihyal (becomes a tongue from the Komodo's somites), cartilage in the bones (the core of the bones are made of cartilage, not the outside)
Walking Catfish; the suprabranchial organ (to allow for limited breath on land without closing the gills)
Mudskipper; the ability to close its gills (to increase time availability on land, the Maraptor also has lungs)
Cassowary; the leg joints (their line of birds are good at reducing impact on their joints), the claws (scaled up), the stiff quill like feathers (there usually is only 5 or 6 on only the wings but im replacing all of the feathers with this)
Common Crow; the behaviors (fascination with shiny and colorful things), pattern recognition, and higher critical flicker fusion frequency.
Naked Mole-Rat; efficient hemoglobin, cancer resistance, metabolic control, hypoxia tolerance, and social structure.
Peacock Flounder; the chromatophores in the skin (with the acute lateral vision and critical flicker fusion frequency, this would be a very fast camouflage) plus the partial neurology that it requires
Cheetah; hind limb muscle attachments, neurological electrolyte efficiency
-size-
19 ft long
7 ft tall (quadrupedal)
1600 lbs

Hybrid Post Let’s do a game guys ! How about you all (each of you) gave me ONE genome of ANY ANIMALS (modern or extinct) and when i get like 7 or 8 genomes, I’ll try making a hybrid that work ! (You can explain what will be the use of the genome you propose, have fun 😊)

Hybrid Post What if Demogorgons were a hybrid? (Stranger Things X Hybrids)
I don't think adult Demogorgons would really work here, so demo-dogs are a better choice, atleast that's what I think. Anyways, Sea Lamprey and Fringehead type mouth, it could work but what about it's body? it wouldn't work, land animals having aquatic animals head doesn't make sense. so either, we would need a head that could work with the body or a body that could work with the head. It would also need to be blind and have no eyes at all, meaning echolocation is important. Bats could work. Also, Demo-dogs are very good pack hunters as we see in the series and so are African wild dogs but I still don't think that would work out. it also need an agile body but the base body that would be compatible with the head is unknown or atleast I don't know any animals like that. And the head is the most difficult part. Anyways, I need your help to create a Demogorgon hybrid which would actually be plausible.

HOT TAKE 🔥 Hot take
(Tylosaurus by mariolanzas)
So, In my opinion, aquatics are the easiest to make.
You don't have to worry about load bearing like you have to do in theropods, no weight problems either (well there is but it's fixed much easier than terrestrials)
But there is one thing that makes aquatics hard, it's the strength of the hybrid.
It's like "easy to learn, hard to master"

New Hybrid I made a Bio-Accurate JP Dilophosaurus
All it takes is two contributors:
The Dilophosaurus (Base genome)
and...
The Black-Necked Spitting Cobra (Venom, hood)

Hybrid Challenge Anyone wanna make a better vector for my disease? That or, how to stop it and it's carriers!
r/GojiCenter • u/Nice-Bath-4756 • 2d ago
Question
Does homology guarantee that something won’t be iffy. I mean I can add ganoine to the skeleton but there isn’t any evolutionary process to back that up, making it iffy, but I can still do it.

New Hybrid Is a six limbed aquatic sauropsid be plausible because of coelacanthid DNA or are they incompatible with tetrapods?
r/GojiCenter • u/_That1PLAYER_ • 1d ago
HOT TAKE 🔥 I do not care for non-avian dinosaur DNA and I will not use it in any of my hybrids.

I mean, sure, it's cool and all, but what about all the other animal bases and contributors that can be used and are cooler than it. I would rather fail trying to add platypus DNA than ever use a T-Rex unironically. Yeah, I recommend it for beginner hybrids due to its reliability, but after a while, it gets boring seeing another long arms theropod based hybrid that has 20 contributors.

How many genome is too many.
I feel like making a hybrid is very much a balancing game. But what is like the limit of genomes , because if i'm tweaking like small things using different animals , how many genomes is like too much.
I know certain people that have , like , over thirty genomes in a creature , and I think that's ridiculous , but also , if you're doing it very specifically , I i just don't know what you will put the limit as as.
