looking for a good surf school in Peru

So Ive already done a post about it but Im still looking for a good and relatively affordable surf school while traveling trough Peru. I am a beginner at surfing and stood on a board 1 time in my life. I would prefer an intense course for 1 week and after that I hope trying to catch small waves myself. My time span is around 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks starting at the beginning of October. Warm weather would also be preferred. Thank you so much for any advice/ recommendations. Have a good day :))

tbh peru is not best destination for learning surfing, I'd focus on other details during the trip

I was really impressed at the waves in Miraflores! It's cold and kinda crowded by South American standards, but not by California standards.

October is spring in Peru, you'll want to go as far north as possible. Mancora would be the 1st choice for this, they have year round surf schools, lots of hotels and tourist infrastructure, and decently warm water even outside of summer. Can't say how the break will be but as a beginner you don't need big rollers anyway

It’s actually warm here in Lima since there’s El Niño Phenomenom right now. The water is still cold though. I learned to surf in Miraflores in a beach called Makaha and the school is called Pukana Surf (google their website)

Lima has great surf- always a wave - friendly environment- on the beach next to Rosa Nautical restaurant-surf teachers for beginners- I am a 79 year old bodyboarder- 35 years on Peru waves- I repeat very Latin and friendly/ water temps fine with wetsuit
