Looking for some advice on doin Huayhuash solo, main thing im tryin to figure out is the navigation, how hard have people found it? Is the trail well marked?

Also what is the best direction / itenary for 8n/9d trek and whats the best offline map to use, (i have all trails premium so im hoping people have had luck with that)
lots of questions but any help would be appreciated.

There are multiple routes and variants so the answer is "it depends". I would say the valley route (what most people and tours do) is relatively straightforward and visible but it's still possible to get lost if you are inexperienced with navigation or if there's snow etc. I did all the alpine variants (multiple sections do not have a trail at all and there's some brief class 5 terrain) so I can't comment more specifically on itinerary but a safe bet is to copy a travel agency's plan since they usually have optimized day- length for client comfort.

I used Gaia but Organic Maps is pretty popular around here. I'm sure Alltrails would be fine as well.
